Financial Markets Instructors

Our business is expanding rapidly and as a result we are looking to increase our faculty to enable us meet growing market demands. We are looking for instructors in Europe, the US and Asia who are available on either a full time or part time basis, flexible and willing to travel.

Our instructors teach the latest strategies and techniques using realistic exercises, case studies and simulations. Our faculty is made up of experts who deliver learning programs with drive, passion and genuine enthusiasm.

As a financial markets instructor, you will provide in-house training for our clients, primarily global investment banks. In addition, you will have the opportunity to work hands-on with our clients to design and develop their learning programs.

Sales and Business Development Consultant

Reporting to the UK General Manager, the Sales and Business Development Consultant is responsible for identifying new sales opportunities in our vertical markets, and for researching and selling business opportunities.

The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills and a proven track record in sales and business development.

The role involves:

• Achieving personal sales targets
• Conversing with customers at a professional and technical level
• Identifying new large sales opportunities in our vertical markets with our range of new products, specifically business skills, computer literacy, custom sales and financial skills, solution selling, pricing and closing deals
• Overseeing the continuing development, performance and profitability of key accounts
• Participating in the development and implementation of the sales and marketing plans with particular reference to the needs of the UK and Europe
• Participating in new product development and pricing activities with particular reference to the needs of the UK and Europe
• Using existing contacts within the industry to concentrate on business development and raising the profile of the organisation
• Working closely with the Marketing Managers to deliver solutions to key clients
• Building long-term relationships with key customers and managing their accounts
• Motivating the junior office staff and continually promoting the company's image in the community

The successful candidate will:

• Have proven experience in a sales role. Experience in banking or financial markets would be a distinct advantage.
• Be able to demonstrate competency in sales and business development
• Be a team player
• Possess excellent communications skills (written and oral), organizational skills and attention to detail
• Be educated to degree level, with experience in solution selling and ideally the financial markets sector
• Have proven success in building cross-functional and external relationships
• Have the ability to manage and work on multiple projects simultaneously, at a very fast pace with tight deadlines
• Be able to work with sensitive information and maintain confidentiality at all times

Business Support Assistant – London

Overview

Based in our London office, the Business Support Assistant will play a significant role in the day-to-day running of the office.

The ideal candidate will be organized, detail-oriented, proactive, flexible, an articulate communicator, an excellent team player and able to think and act quickly in a fast-paced environment. Previous experience in a similar role would be an advantage.

Business Support

 

This role involves:

• Managing learner records related to client needs on our learning management system:

• Coordinating workshop logistics, including:

• Assisting in the organization of client lunches, meetings, conferences and events

• Responding to all client information requests in a timely manner

Office Operations

 

Duties include:

• Ensuring the office facilities run smoothly on a day-to-day basis

• Liaising with service providers as necessary and coordinating office maintenance

• Managing all incoming and outgoing post, including couriered packages; upkeep of postal/courier expenditures log

• Primary responsibility for answering office phones

• Ordering of office supplies - corporate stationery, kitchen supplies etc.

Required Professional and Technical Skills

• A self-starter – can work independently to achieve objectives

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

• Excellent telephone manner

• A minimum of 1 year’s office administration experience would be an advantage

• Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint

Business Development Director - US Life Sciences

Intuition is currently recruiting for the role of Business Development Director – US Life Sciences based in our Manhattan, NY office. The Business Development Director is responsible for developing relationships with US Pharma and managing relationships with existing clients. Your goal will be to help expand a broad-based education business – consulting, training program delivery, custom e-learning and product – focused on the Pharma sales and marketing stream. You will report directly to the Head of Life Sciences in Europe, and will have the autonomy and resources to make a success of the challenge and to expand the Intuition service offering.

Candidates must have at least 4 years’ experience in a management role in Life Sciences and a proven track record in sales.

We are not explicitly looking for someone drawn from Pharma sales training/consulting but this would be a distinct advantage. This is a role that should attract someone with a professional services orientation, rather than an e-learning sales approach. A third level qualification in Life Sciences would also be an advantage.

Main responsibilities
• Manage and build relationships with existing clients
• Open new business relationships in compliance and sales and marketing
• Direct US-based sales efforts
• Liaise with Dublin, Ireland-based production unit
• Travel as required

Requirements
• Four years’ experience in a management role in Life Sciences

Project Manager - US

Based in our New York office, the successful candidate will play a key role in the development and execution of client projects. Intuition’s project managers have overall responsibility for the timely delivery of products and services to our clients, while at the same time minimizing project risks and exposures.
The successful candidate will be well organized, highly motivated and a team player. Strong budgeting and scheduling skills are essential, along with the ability to project-manage a multi-disciplined team and run multiple projects simultaneously. The ability to work to strict deadlines is essential.

The role focuses on:
• Creating and executing project work plans; revising as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements; managing client change requests as appropriate
• Identifying resources needed and assigning of individual responsibilities
• Applying our methodology and enforcing project standards
• Integrating individual project plans into an organization-wide project plan
• Daily management and monitoring of project plans
• Tracking and reporting team hours and expenses
• Maintaining project documentation and status reports
• Reporting on project plan progress and status to Business Development Team on a weekly basis
• Conducting or participating in project update meetings with clients
• Implementing best practices and project management methodologies appropriate to the projects’ scope
• Managing project budget and finances
• Maintaining close contact with clients, ensuring shared vision and adhering to client deliverables and milestones
• Managing client expectations within the parameters of the project plan, in conjunction with Business Development Team and management
• Ensuring project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately

Key Requirements:

• A minimum of 2 years’ project management experience working on client-facing projects is a must. Experience in learning and development, financial services or a related discipline would be a distinct advantage.
• Excellent interpersonal, presentational and team-leading skills
• Ability to run multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong budgeting skills and the ability to work to strict deadlines are essential.
